Rub in Dawn dish detergent, it takes the grease out, out of your way.How can I remove cooking oil stains from my favorite tank top?
Sprinkle some baking soda on the spot and it will absorb the oil (let it sit for a few hours). Then squirt some Zout stain remover on the spot (get it at Wal-mart, it's cheap and good) and let it sit over night. Then next day wash it and the spot should be gone. I've done this several times to much success. In fact, Zout will get out red kool-aide or spaghetti stains if the stain is treated before it dries.
Trying sprinkling some talcum powder on both sides and leave it for at least 1/2 hr. for the powder to absorb the oil. Then gently rub it in and add more powder. Leave it for anothe 1/2 hr. It had worked for me but mine was a fresh stain.
Go shopping its the cure for everything.
fels naptha landury soap have to buy at grocery store wet spot rub with soap and toothbrush may have to do a few times but it usualy gets it out work on most stains
';Goop'; hand/laundry cleaner, the only place I can find it around here is Menards. They have a website if you need help finding it. Dawn is the next best thing, but not as powerful. Just don't put your shirt in the dryer until you are sure the stain is gone. I have used Goop on old stains that have already been dried with great success. Just smear it on and let is sit for awhile. Does not harm colors.
Worst comes to worst, just wash it with your regular laundry 2-3 times. ALWAYS works for me. Oil can be stubborn but it does come out.
Treat with acetone / let dry / treat with alcohol / let dry / spray with dishwashing solvent before washing.
