What do to with the old cooking oil?

I will answer your question by asking you a couple first, how old is this cooking oil?Is it walnut ? unless it's rancid you trow it out otherwise you still can use it up ,if you smell an odour trow it out in the garbage only motor oil is to be disposed at a Service centre for recycling.

Edit

Sunflower oil will keep for a very long time don't trow it out unless you have used it first .About the Government , until they don't pass a law about a cleaner and safer environment you dispose of it just like we did in the past, in your garbage don't pour it down the sink or toilet we are doing our part to keep the water clean at least. What do to with the old cooking oil?
First check the smell. If it is not rancid, strain it into a jar and refrigerate for use again, depending on what you cooked in it the first time. If you want to dispose of it, just put it in an old jar and throw away. What do to with the old cooking oil?
Not much, other then discard it. Just a tip, to preserve cooking oil for longer use, be sure to strain after each use. I put oil through coffee filters and extend the use drastically.
I pour a little (a couple of tablespoons or so) over my dog's dry food each day. It's good for her coat and digestive tract. And..........she really likes it.
put into an old mayo or other jar w/ a lid and put in the garbage
Pitch it
