Kind of cooking oil to use for high blood pressure?

I know people with high blood pressure and heart ailments should minimise much of everything they eat, but if saute-ing or pan frying something is unavoidable, what kind of oil is safer or least dangerous?Kind of cooking oil to use for high blood pressure?
You want to use Extra Virgin Olive Oil (EVOO). EVOO is cold-pressed and not heated. Avoid ALL processed oils, which includes ALL vegetable oils! Especially canola.

Have you thought to try to lower the HBP naturally? There are ways to do this that are not expensive. It never hurts to educate yourself and take control of your health. I will give you some ideas which are for educational purposes only. If you decide to try them, then that is your choice. (I have to cover my butt as it is against the law to ';practice medicine without a license';, but it is not against the law to educate and inform).

Many people who are low in calcium, potassium, and magnesium have high blood pressure. Sometimes just taking these supplements in a high enough form can reverse HBP.

A really good book to read for good health is called, ';Dead Doctors Don't Lie'; by Dr. Joel Wallach and Ma Lin. Excellent book on importance of minerals in the human and animal diet. You can find it at the library (inter-library loan system, if your library does not carry this book), or look on line. It is an excellent book.

There is no such thing as a ';Canola'; plant. Canola stands for Canada Oil and is nothing but rape seed. You can read all about Canola and how it is not a heart-healthy oil below. All vegetable oils are highly refined and are not good for human consumption.

I have left you several (as many as I am allowed!) websites so you can read up on how taking mineral supplements, hawthorn berries (bought in capsule form at health food store or if these grow in your area, take as a tea), raw garlic, celery juice or eating celery raw, and eating the proper oils and diet can help you lower your HBP naturally.

Why live with this condition and all of its side-effects if you can reverse it naturally?

Best of luck!Kind of cooking oil to use for high blood pressure?
