How do you dispose of cooking oil?

Cooking oil should not be poured down drains. Cooking oil, such as that used for frying can often be reused. Once the oil has cooled pour into a plastic bottle and dispose with normal domestic waste. Alternatively you could dispose the cooking oil by tipping it onto soil in your garden as it contains many minerals which are very good for the soil. How do you dispose of cooking oil?
I save bottles or cans-preferable w/ lids. make sure the oil is cool before pouring-esp if using plastic containersHow do you dispose of cooking oil?
mix it with cold running water as you pur it down the drain. of you dont mix it, your drain will clog.
umm...garbage? or down the drain.
I pour the used oil in an empty oil jug or milk jug and put it out with the garbage.
you re-use it
you cant put it in the sink because it clogs it up you have to put it in a cup and wait until it gets hard (not very long) and put it in the trash can it is not hazardous waste or anything but you just cant put it in the sink
Either let it run down the drain %26amp; follow it with hot hot water for about 5min or put it in a container %26amp; let it harden then throw it in the trash can. Cold water will make it harden %26amp; clog pipes. Your best bet is to clean it ASAP %26amp; use the hot water b/c it's messy when it hardens %26amp; if the container is worth keeping you have to worry about making a mess getting it out of there.
I usually just pour it outside in the woods behind our house. If that isn't good for you save the bottles that oil comes in or any other type of bottle and pour your old oil in it and discard in the trash.
I have a can I dump it into, then dump it in the trash. If I had a maker, I'd make biodiesel out of it.
I would put it in a jar of some sort %26amp; throw it in the trash. It will only clog your drains.
make it into biodiesel!

=P

Have fun saving the world!!!
I pour it on the ground in the woods.
If you have an empty water/soda/juice bottle, then you could put the cooking oil in that - just let the oil cool down first.
If you have a little bit (home cooking), just run it down the drain with hot water. If you have a lot (restaurant cooking) you'll need to get a hold of another restaurant and ask them how they dispose of theirs. Most restaurants have it picked up by a service.
not down the drain,,,stop it up
since its not a harmful substance it can be put in a trash but to keep it cleaner you might need to put it in a bottle. or you could just put it down the sink
The best thing to do is poor the oil in a vegtable can and let it harden, once it hardens you can throw it in the trash. If you dont have a can you can dump it down the sink with hot hot water running behind it. Make sure its hot water because if its cold it can make the oil harden in your drain pipes and cause a clog in the drain.
I save old milk cartons place some paper towels in there and put oil in there once the oil has cooled off.
If its just a little bit then I just wash it down the sink. If it's a lot you could always re-use it?
turn on the hot water as hot as possible and pour down the drain, mixing it with the water
Pure it in large coffee can and then trash it when the can is filled
Pour it into another container, like a soda bottle or an empty mayonnaise jar, seal it, and throw in garbage; or use lots of paper towels to help soak it up if you can't find a sealable container. Whatever you do, do NOT pour it down the drain. It can clog your pipes and cost you lots of money for a plumber. Oil and grease also causes havoc with the city sewage system.
dump it outside..
i don't know if ur supposed to, but i pour mine down the sink then clean it with the specialist sink/drainage products... nothings happend so far!!!
down the drain
