if you like the taste of butter you should use it, but soon as you'll be just useing oil to cook the toast in it wont matter, u might want to add some salt to the oil to compansate for the fact butter has more salt in it
It will cook it ok, but it won't taste at all as good as it would with real (unsalted) butter....
