Everytime I fry a fish or meat in my range, the cooking oil always spatter and stick to my overhanged cabinets which I cannot avoid. I applied a degreaser but it was not effective. The cooking oil still remains. Do you have any suggestion? Please help. Thanks. How do you get rid those cooking oil sticked on your cabinet door?
I have used this process on a multitude of properties to clean stubborn oil stains from cabinets.
Use Mr CLean Erasers with a little soap and water. Works great!
For extremely stubborn stains...
Use TSP (Trisodium Phosphate) damp cloth, wear chemical gloves and clean as normal.
Lastly, a tip from preventing further oil stains..
Take a plastic garbage bag and tape to cabinetry while using fryers. Also works for overflow of oil splatter from stove top getting on cabinetry as well. Remove when done and discard. How do you get rid those cooking oil sticked on your cabinet door?
I believe I used Bleche-White last time I did this. Find it in the auto cleaning section of Wal-Mart, etc. Spray it on, allow it to soak for 30 seconds or so and use a wet soapy rag to wipe it down with. Then, go behind it with a dry rag.
You'll need to cover them with a coat of polish afterwards. Anything strong enough to remove the oil will leave it bare and it could start to dry out and crack.
Do you use a splatter shield? Use the one with the tiniest holes you can find.
try straight ammonia; then rinse well; if oak or real wood; finish with Murphys oil soap . Before you fry something net time Hand some wax paper or alum. foil over the doors to catch the grease
Try Oxy Clean, it works great on everything!!!! Good Luck! AND use REAL HOT water, you should wear rubber gloves too
Use your semen, it will work very well.
