What cooking oil is used by fast food chains such as McDonald's, Jack In The Box and Kentucky Fried Chicken?

How come they don't taste like regular veggie oil? What cooking oil is used by fast food chains such as McDonald's, Jack In The Box and Kentucky Fried Chicken?
Most use Fry Max.

Others just use Canola.

The reason it doesn't taste like the oil your using home is because they have fried different things in the oil and the oil has been used several times before it's changed.

Freshness is what makes your oil taste different.

You use it once and toss.

Not so with chains. What cooking oil is used by fast food chains such as McDonald's, Jack In The Box and Kentucky Fried Chicken?
