I washed it twice and the spot is still there. Is there a quick home remedy to remove it?How can I remove cooking oil from my gray sweatshirt?
YOU DONTHow can I remove cooking oil from my gray sweatshirt?
spray n wash always works for me
Spray it with Spray and Wash and scrub it with a brush a bit. Keep washing until the stain is gone, but make sure you don't put it in the dryer. If you dry it, the stain will set and never come out.
first when oil spils on ur dress always dust it with some face powder to absorb the oil. now that the oil stain is there on ur shirt, use some kerosene/ vinegar to remove the stain. wash it in hot water, but c 2 it that the colour doesn't fade.
Shout, It Out, or use another commercially available spot and stain remover. Cooking Oil isn't the toughest stain to remove, but it does depend on the fabric.
cover the oil spot with a talcum powder, leave it for some time, now wash it as u wish with soap ot in machine, the spot will disappear.
If you do not have some kind of oxidizing agent on the dry shirt rub dawn dish liq. on it and let sit for 30 min. and just regular wash. Or a old remedy take a bar of ivory soap on it and let it sit then wash
Try Dawn dishwashing liquid. Rub by hand and rinse.
I heard a paste made of baking soda and vinegar put on the spot should get it out or WD-40.
take a bit of sand.apply it on the area.sand absorbs the oil.then with using water dust it off.then if the oil is totally absorbed wash it with soap.later after i dries apply some powder to make it smooth.use sand instead of wasting ur powder.
My parents have a concession biz. My mom sprays Resolve carpet cleaner( pump bottle) on the spot and washes it. CHECK the spot before you put it in the dryer. If it is real bad you might have to do it twice
